The Cape Hatteras Light House cam shows the photo at Ocracoke Island so which is it. The are two different islands. Also, what happened to the Frisco Pier cam which is on Hatteras Island?

Love the lighthouse. My husband and I got married there in October 2004. Week of Frank and Frans Red Drum tournment. Keep our locals safe and our beaches safe.

have stayed at Buxton since we've been coming to Hatteras. One beautiful place with Ocean on both sides of where we stay. Went in the lighthouse the year before it moved and the year after. makes me cry when I get there and cry when it's time to leave.

Most people come in out of the rain--but apparently not the idiots who think the beaches are all closed. News Flash: More than 19 miles of outer banks beaches are still open to vehicle traffic, many more miles to pedestrians, and, yes, some beaches are closed to protect nesting protected species. Wow!

Nice picture with NO people in the picture since the lawsuit closed the beach
